The FTI Screw Press is a continuous dewatering press that allows individual design for your applications. It has a graduated pitch and interrupted flight screw. Because the FTI Press handles materials often considered un-pressable, it has low operating and maintenance costs, and is easy to clean; it offers high yield per dollar. Final pressing is controlled by pneumatically actuated patented cone device that provides easy adjustment and metallurgy.

A pneumatically actuated cone provides easy adjustment of moisture content controls final pressing. Wedgewire screens and hard surfaced wear areas are standard. Excellent service is obtained on screen rejects, shives, knots, and clarifier underflow. Inbound consistencies of 1% to 20% solids (greater of sawdust) are accepted.

Press cake moisture is controllable in the range of 25% to 50% solids.
