•Slurry enters tapered header inside the rotating screen. •The header is designed to distribute flow to the headbox, keeping the solids in suspension. •The slurry flows smoothly over the weir along the side of the headbox and falls perpendicular to the wedgewire openings of the screen. •As the liquid passes through the rotating screen cylinder, the captured solids are retained on the screen where they accumulate and dewater, •As the solids tumble, a series of diverters arranged in a spiraling pattern continuously moves solids to the cylinder end for removal. |
