Rotary Screen - Externally Fed

The FTI Externally Fed Rotary Screens are used in food plants, industrial and municipal operations to provide an efficient, economical means to separate liquids from solids. The gentle operation of separating the sludge/slurry stream is accomplished with a minimum of parts providing trouble free operation, reliability and long service life - resulting in a savings of product, time and labor.

STANDARDS

•Externally Fed Rotary Screen Filters are manufactured with heavy guage type 304 stainless steel with 2-B finish for maximum corrosion resistance and durability.
•Strainer drum is constructed of stainless steel helical-wound wedgewire, insuring a non-binding, drain free, self-cleaning surface.
•Internal clean in place spray bar provides ease of cleanup and maximum sanitary operation.
•Scraper blade is constructed of material compatible to the operating environment.
•Standard Drive System is single or variable speed. Hydraulic or pneumatic options available.
•All products are warranted to our standard warantee policy.

			Sizing and Selection is determined by application, flow rate, solids load process characteristics and technical criteria established through experience. All design aspects of the application must be considered to determine model selection. External Rotary Screen flow capacities are based on selection criteria and design parameters of the standard units.
